Implementation of Continuing Professional Education for Allied Health Professionals

The Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) has issued a circular dated 28 February 2024 on the implementation of Continuing Professional Education (CPE).

All registered Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) on full and restricted registration will be required to fulfil CPE requirements. 

The CPE framework will be rolled out in two phases. A voluntary CPE phase will commence on 1 March 2024 and the mandatory phase from 1 January 2026 when fulfilment of CPE points is a requirement for the renewal of Practising Certificate.
