Certificate of Good Standing

Overview

Under the Allied Health Professions (Registration and Practising Certificates) Regulations 2013, the Council may, upon the application made by a registered Allied Health Professional (AHP) and accompanied by the appropriate fee, issue to the registered AHP, a Certificate of Good Standing (CGS) stating that on the date of its issue, that AHP is registered and that no proceedings under the Act have been taken or are pending against him.

AHPs can apply for a CGS with the AHPC to prove his/her current registration status with the AHPC.

In situations where an application for CGS is made by an AHP whose name has been removed from the Register, whose registration with the AHPC has lapsed or who had proceedings taken or pending against him/her, a letter indicating so will be issued to the requesting authority instead of a CGS.

Online submission of application

AHPs are required to log in to their Professional Registration System (PRS) account to submit an application for CGS. The prescribed fee is SGD60.

If the requesting overseas authority requires the AHPC to complete a prescribed form, please ensure that you have completed all the relevant sections and signed on the form before uploading it when submitting the application.  Do note that the AHPC will not make any amendments or furnish any other information. The AHPC will send the prescribed form together with the CGS / letter to be issued.  

Please ensure that the email address/mailing address is accurately indicated in the application form.  

If the requesting overseas authority has issued you with a reference number, you may provide AHPC with the reference number, through the application form, to be inserted in your CGS.

Processing of application

Upon submission of all the required documentation, the AHPC will review each application based on its merits. The average processing time for an application is approximately 14 working days, and longer for more complex applications.

Application outcome

The CGS / letter is an official certification issued by the AHPC and will only be transmitted between an overseas authority and the AHPC.  A copy of the CGS will not be issued to AHP.  

The AHP will be informed through email after the CGS has been emailed / mailed to requesting authority.  AHPC will not be liable for any loss of CGS issued.
